PNGO urgently calls on UN to take immediate action, stop Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) calls on the international community and the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon to provide an immediate international protection to the Palestinian people and exert immediate and urgent efforts to stop the Israeli occupation's aggression in the Gaza Strip.

PNGO warns that the Israeli occupation totally ignores the international conventions and treaties including the Fourth Geneva Convention by committing horrible crimes against the Palestinian civilians by targeting their houses using war jets, artilleries and gunboats in the light of the Israeli tight siege on the Gaza Strip.

PNGO meanwhile demands the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas to accelerate announcement of joining the Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court, to prosecute the Israeli war criminals and bring them to justice.

PNGO calls on all international, Arab and Palestinian organizations to expedite the provision of the shelter and relief program for the Palestinian stricken families of Israeli occupation bombardment and provide them an urgent material support.

PNGO calls to provide the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip with emergency aids including medicine, medical equipments, fuel and humanitarian aids. It also demands the government to solve the salary crisis of Gaza employees.

The Palestinian NGOs Network calls the international solidarity groups to intensify their solidarity activities to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its aggression against the Palestinians and expose the occupation practices and its violations to the whole world
